Sunshine Blogger Tag

Before anything else, a very special thanks to Rain for tagging me because this smol bean already made a bunch of drafts but is not in the right condition to publish them yet. So I think this time, I owe you a thousand crates of chocolates (you know I’m just exaggerating, right?)

Okay so before I turn your hair into gray and paint wrinkles on your face, I’m gonna try my best to answer the questions with all honesty. If not, you can transfigure me into a penguin. Lego!

1. Which book encouraged you to read more?

Hmmm. This question makes me want to own a time turner real quick. If you have a rusty bookdragon brain, mine is a tenfold rustier, I bet. But I guess there’s nothing really particular. I just remember the kid me enjoying the books sent by her aunt from States and I can’t remember anymore which book I read first. Maybe the Magic Tree House series? (aww I wanna read them again) Or Very Funny Elizabeth? Felicity? Prolly, Sideways Stories from Wayside School? I MUST ASK THAT KID FROM THE PAST SO MAYBE YOU COULD LEND ME A TIME TURNER? OH HOW I WANT TO GO BACK BUT ALL I CAN DO RIGHT NOW IS TO LET OUT A DEEP SIGH. POOR ME.

2. Who inspired you to publish your blog?

I initially want to make a blog because I simply want to spill my ideas and opinions about everything that’s going on inside my mind plus I love to write and write and write. But I got my full determination to do one because of a vlogger. Yes, a VLOGGER. As in V – Vlogger. She inspired me in all of her vlogs and her words are admirable. If you read my previous blogposts, you may notice that my intros are quite long (haha) that’s because whenever I write, I feel like I’m already talking to somebody as how vloggers do when they start talking in front of the camera. Sadly, I haven’t mustered the courage to film myself and the fact that I don’t have the equipment means I should not pursue it for now. Plus my words run out easily when I start talking so yeah. Let’s just say, my mind is more talkative than my mouth.

3. What book do you recommend the most to your friends?

I may read tons of books in my lifetime but I will never get tired of plugging Harry Potter whenever, wherever. I hate it when people don’t get my HP references. It’s DISAPPOINTING. For me, if you are aware of the Wizarding World, you are worthy to be called a Wizard. If not, you’re still a muggle (you won’t even know what it means urgh). Life. Is. More. Fun. With. Wizarding. World. I. Tell. You. So if you’re reading this and you haven’t read HP, I suggest you start poring over NOW!

4. Who is your favorite fictional character?

I’m thinking about Sherlock. But Dumbledore owned my heart first. No explanation needed, I guess.

5. Can you give me an adaptation that was better than the book?

Uhm. Err. I don’t know. If such thing exists, maybe I read the book but haven’t watched the adaptation or watched the adaptation but haven’t read the book. So far, the books I’ve read are always the best.

6. If you can visit a fictional place, where will you go?

Oh! I have two places in mind. But first, let’s state the obvious. Of course, the Wizarding World. Everytime I read HP, I always wished it was real. I just love everything – from Hogwarts to Hogsmeade to Diagon Alley, etc. – and let me just commend J.K. Rowling for her superb imagination. Really magical! Second, Narnia. I’ve seen a lot of wardrobes, opened a lot of wardrobes but none of them leads the way to Narnia. I don’t know, uhm, I haven’t tried going to a train station or displayed a painting that could be a portal to Narnia with my anatomy fully intact. Maybe I should try it out soon.

7. How do you cope up with anxiety?

I could eat chocolates, best advice from Professor Lupin, to shoo the dementors away. I could also listen to music that would bring me back to my senses. I could write as what I usually do. I could cry if I can’t contain my feelings anymore. But they’re not always convenient. So best thing to do is to pray and have an intimate conversation with Him, even if I’m in the middle of doing something.

8. ‎Is there an animal/creature (fictional or non-fictional) that matches your personality? What is it and why?

I can’t think of anything. A dog, maybe? Specifically, a chihuahua because I am a smol creature. I think I possess several qualities of a dog, depends on the situation. I can be sweet. I can be playful. I can be quiet – OR – I can be savage. I can give you my ultimate wrath. And I can BITE. Rawr!

9. ‎What is your favorite TV show?

Since the question didn’t specify what kind of television show is my favorite, there’s a looooooot. They’re all my favorite! Bunch of kdrama series, I don’t really watch english series because I am into Korean shows but my love goes for Stranger Things. As for entertainment shows, I love Running Man, Thrifter’s Guide to Luxurious Travel, What Shall We Eat Today, and the list doesn’t end there dear so I’ll just stop. There’s a new South Korean mystery fiction-variety show on Netflix and I think it’s interesting so maybe I will add it on my list soon. My mind’s messed up with this question haha!

10. ‎If you were given a chance to change the ending of your favorite book, how will you change it?

So far I don’t have anything against the endings of the book I’ve read. But here’s ONE thing I want to happen in case the world decides to turn upside down: Jason not ending up with Piper. Please don’t hate me. *wears invisibility cloak*

11. ‎What are your other hobbies aside from reading?

Singing like there’s no tomorrow and like I own the entire house, watching dramas/series/movies, scrolling on tweets, writing songs/poems, drawing, annoying my sister, teasing my brother, doing what I’m best at – Fangirling, thinking, thinking, and thinking.

So that’s it! I guess you already tagged the bloggers I know Rain ’cause we’re both new to this and I guess there’s only one blogger left in my option. So…

Foreverelle I’ll be waiting. This could be a good start for you! I won’t formulate new questions anymore. My mind is not functioning well. I’ll just plug them down below so it’ll be easier for you to copy.
